Norway's Petter Solberg got his year back on track in wonderful style with a victory in the Rally of Japan, delivering the result which his paymasters at Subaru so craved, a victory in front of the home fans and media. It's been a startling turn-around for the world champion of course, who has had a miserable run of luck but who now has won the event which was probably his prime target at the start of the year. Petter was nearly in tears at the end of the event - he's an emotional so-and-so as we all know, but this was was really special to him.
